When I start to reflect on my life and the life of other successful people that are where I want to be in life there is always a common theme.
-
They put themselves in situations of discomfort
-
Never gave up on their goals
Throughout all of the ups and downs they ALWAYS preserved.
I truly believe that discomfort breeds greatness, and have had this mindset since I was in college. I intentionally put myself in uncomfortable situations to reach higher levels of success. Thatâs how I ended up here on this mountain in Taiwan. Making the most money I have ever made, embracing the process and treating every 24 as a new day to push the needle closer to my goals.
Â
Nowadays if it isnât easy, comfortable, and canât be achieved within 30 days most people will just give up. We are in a microwave society where everyone wants to see success within a quick 30 days with little to no pain or discomfort. It is the reason why when people set goals and you ask them about their progress two months later they tell you, âOh Iâm off of that Iâm on this nowâ...the cycles repeats over and over again.
Â
Nothing worth having comes easy or overnight. You must be willing to push yourself to the limits to achieve your goals. There will be plenty of people (even family) telling you what you are trying to accomplish wonât work. Donât worry, nobody sees the vision until the movie is complete. Donât listen to them just keep your head down and continue to work. They will come around once the film is rolling.
If you feel like you arenât where you want to be in life or havenât reached the amount of success you have hoped for.Â
I want you to be HONEST with yourself and answer a few questions.
When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone?
When was the last time you laid out a plan and worked towards a goal for 90 days straight?
Are you willing to go through discomfort to achieve your goals?
Â
Rest in PeaceÂ
